Sawyers
Little Bar | BIG ATITUDE
Some pubs serve food.
WE DON'T.
Some pubs are owned by breweries.
WE AREN'T.
We serve the drinks we love
To the people that love to drink them!
Sawyers is small. We don’t have a big garden, parking lot or kitchen. Frankly we don’t need any of that.
We are an independently owned and run micro pub that focuses on serving great local ales, beers, ciders and wines.
We don’t need to be big to offer great drinks in a cool atmosphere. We don’t need to be huge to be laid back and eclectic. Best of all we don’t have any big companies telling us what we can and cannot serve. We make our own rules.
We serve a selection of local ales & beer, including Curious Brewery, the wonderful Hopdaemon, Gadds and others. The Canterbury made Hendersons Cider is divine – Elderflower is as much of a hit as the fantastic Rhubarb. Amongst our well stocked offerings are popular spirits, traditional bottled lager and Guinness, delectable local Gins and a selection of wines: Red, White, Rose and Prosecco.
So come visit us. We may be small but we have attitude!

Finding Us
Address: 169 Bridge Street, Wye Kent TN25 5DP
We are situated on Bridge Street in the lovely village of Wye, right around the corner from Upper Bridge Street or the centre of the village. There are some great pubs and eateries in the village who are run by friends of Sawyers. We offer something different so if you are out walking or biking on the lovely North Kent Downs or just wanting to visit somewhere new then come on in!
Coming by train – Wye is 6 minutes from Ashford International and 16 minutes from Canterbury. Sawyers is roughly 5 minutes walk straight up Bridge Street.
Coming by car – we are too small to have a car park! You can find parking around the village or out front of the bar. Make sure to bring a designated driver because once you try our delicious offerings and great atmosphere, you may be tempted to have a few more!
Coming by foot – there are so many beautiful footpaths into Wye! Bring the dog and sit down for a well deserved break in your travels.
Cyclist are welcome to lock their bikes outside the pub.
